
Trying new recipes; Pork shoulder on a bed of onion and apple, basted in apple cider. Slow cooked for 6 hours and served with a fennel salad.
I got a photo message the other day from a friend of mine who decided to try my moussaka recipe. Another sent me a message that they had tried the carbonara, as did another from work.
This blog is as much a learning experience for me, as it is for the few that have been following so far. It pushes my boundaries into developing my own recipes. I’m now introducing myself to the shop keepers at the market, not just staying another anonymous patron. And where I can, I’m trying different cafes and restaurants.
Who knows the final destination of this blog, but in the meantime we will all enjoy the journey.
